Grants of $1,000 to USA K-12 teachers to purchase virtual reality equipment for classroom use. Funding is intended to enhance student engagement and educational experiences by means of interactive learning. With the 2019 Technology Teacher Grant, teachers can help their students engage with educational content through the interactive learning experiences of VR headsets. Studies suggest that education through VR can improve knowledge retention, concentration, and understanding. Instructors can take their students on virtual field trips or build a new skill in a safe environment – the options for immersive learning with VR equipment are limitless.
