Awards to North Carolina companies in eligible regions to recognize efforts to create a positive work environment. Companies with at least 10 employees may be nominated. Selected companies are those that go above and beyond to foster an engaging atmosphere and create policies valued by their employees. Eligible companies must be headquartered in one of the following 16 counties: Chatham, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake, Warren, and Wilson.

There are six categories:

  • Communication and Resources
  • Individual Needs
  • Manager Effectiveness
  • Personal Engagement
  • Team Dynamics
  • Trust in Leadership

The top companies will receive a workplace audit report valued at $4,000. All companies that participate will receive from Quantum Workplace a free overview report that shows a short summary of their survey results.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The company must have at least 10 full-time workers. If the parent company is not headquartered here, the local operation (in 16 mentioned counties) must have at least 100 local workers to qualify. The surveys must be filled out by the company’s local employees.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination Deadline: May 13, 2022

Only one registration per company is required. Please have your HR person register your company, and that person will become the company administrator for this process.

Step-by-Step Program Guide:

Step 1: Nominate your employer by completing the online form by May 13, 2022.

Step 2: Register with Quantum Workplace. You will receive the survey setup information from Quantum Workplace on or about May 16.

Step 3: Distribute Survey. Your company administrator will upload employee email addresses into the Quantum Workplace online portal. For guidelines on who to survey, see the URL for Full Text link below.

Step 4: Survey. Employees will click on their unique link to gain access to the survey. The Employee Survey website will be open from May 16 to June 17.

Step 5: Result tabulation. Results will be tabulated by QW and numerical results are sent to Triangle Business Journal.
