PROMOTING ANIMAL WELFARE AND HUMANE EDUCATION, RESCUE OF DOGS AND CATS FROM HIGH KILL ANIMAL SHELTERS IN NORTH CAROLINA AND VIRGINIA, FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION SERVICES.

OUR MISSION IS TO RESCUE ENDANGERED SPECIES FROM EXTINCTION AND COMMUNITIES FROM ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION. WE USE A PROVEN BLUEPRINT FOR STRATEGIC ACTION TO CONNECT, PROTECT AND RESTORE , GIVING ENDANGERED SPECIES THE CHANCE TO REBOUND AND COMMUNITIES A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.

Provide subsidies for and promote , and wellness care for owned animals in need and rescue groups

to benefit local emergency services.

To rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful, which includes livestock auctions, equine kill pens, animal shelters, unclaimed strays, owner surrenders in dire situations and irresponsible breeders; To inform the public of these situations in order to put a stop to animal abuse and irresponsible breeding; To provide foster homes and/or sanctuary for these animals; To provide necessary veterinary care; To promote the importance of spaying/neutering and assist others with referrals to low cost spay/neuter programs; To place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes; and To build and maintain a network of other rescue groups for rescued animals.

To keep pets and their human companions together, reducing euthanasia or pet abandonment for companion animals with treatable conditions. This is accomplished by coordinating care between applicants and veterinary hospitals and awarding veterinary subsidies for veterinary treatment.

THE MISSION OF IS TO PROMOTE A SOCIETY IN WHICH PEOPLE WILL VALUE AND SAFEGUARD ANIMALS. THE ALSO ADVOCATES FOR THE PROTECTION AND BENEFIT OF ANIMALS AND CHILDREN.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ADOPTION SERVICES, CARE ASSISTANCE, AND SHELTER FOR ANIMALS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO EDUCATES THE COMMUNITY ON ANIMALS AND ANIMAL RIGHTS.
