Our mission is to create a future without intimate partner violence. To make that possible, we are dedicated to funding initiatives with defined outcomes that prevent intimate partner violence, that provide educational curriculum youth and young adults, that promote awareness, and that provide credible research the exploration of innovative methods that stop intimate partner violence.Our four initiatives are:Prevention - Primary Prevention, stopping IPV before it begins. Focusing on education and understanding young people, early. Partner with organizations who focus on the important work of Secondary Intervention. Education - Support School Curriculums, communicate broadly the impacts of IPV, develop University partnerships to more deeply educate college age young people on the problem of IPV.Awareness - Communicate with community leadership to increase awareness, foster Employers Programs aimed at awareness, leverage a speakers bureau and build on the Women of Lun

PREVENT DOMESTIC AND ASSIST VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC

The Council provides emergency, advocacy, counseling, education and specialized services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homeless individuals and families.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER

To provide intensive outpatient treatment alcohol and substance abuse.

Research on positive childhood experiences (PCEs) (literature review / planning / preliminary research): Early stages of a major research project on PCEs as a buffer to childhood trauma. 27% of overall staff time.

THIS AGENCY OPERATES A STORE SELLING DONATED ITEMS TO PUBLIC WITH THEPROCEEDS GOING TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO CANCER VICTIMS, FAMILY MEMBERS WITH RARE MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND DONATIONS FOR WHEEL CHAIR RAMPS, SCHOOLUNIFORMS, TOYS FOR TOTS AND OTHER NEEDS FOR LOCAL FAMILIES.

YOUTH SERVICES AND PREVENTION CHILD ABUSE; GUARDIAN AD LITEM SERVICES; SCHOLARSHIPS

GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO CENTER IN INC TO WORK WITH FAMILIES IN WHICH OR NEGLECT HAS BEEN SUBSTANTIATED OR IS SUSPECTED OR WHEN FAMILIES ARE AT RISK.

Provide crisis intervention, shetler and advocacy services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Also provide outreach and prevention education activitites.

To bring inner healing and freedom to the body of Christ. Provide counsel and healing from trauma to all in need.

To rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful, which includes livestock auctions, equine kill pens, animal shelters, unclaimed strays, owner surrenders in dire situations and irresponsible breeders; To inform the public of these situations in order to put a stop to animal abuse and irresponsible breeding; To provide foster homes and/or sanctuary for these animals; To provide necessary veterinary care; To promote the importance of spaying/neutering and assist others with referrals to low cost spay/neuter programs; To place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes; and To build and maintain a network of other rescue groups for rescued animals.
