Grants of up to $75,000 and in-kind services to USA, Canada, and International startup companies to support business growth and development in Missouri. Funding is intended to recruit companies from a range of industries with the potential to strengthen the local economy, foster entrepreneurship, and revitalize the community. Companies must relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, for at least one year.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations to expand the proper access and use of public lands. Funding is intended to support activities that ensure the safe use of off-highway vehicles, educate the public on conservation practices and appropriate use of recreational land, and protect sustainable access to public land.

Grants of up to $6,000 to USA nonprofit theaters and fellowships of up to $4,000 to individual artists to promote theater for youth and children. For theaters, funding is intended to positively impact the community by promoting theatre and bringing live theatre experiences to children. For theatre artists, funding is intended to have a positive impact on their future career and development of personal artistic excellence.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, tribes, IHEs, and museums for activities related to preserving Native American cultural objects. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to support projects involving consultation or documentation of Native American cultural items, including human remains, funerary objects, sacred objects, and objects of cultural patrimony.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and K-12 schools to equip music programs with musical instruments. The applicant organization must show evidence of need and a commitment to raising matching funds. The purpose of this program is to give children nationwide the opportunity to play high-quality stringed instruments.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations and individuals for activities to reduce and eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons. Funding is intended to address regional conflicts, reduce nuclear threats, partner with like-minded social justice movements, and adopt transformational approaches that can challenge the nuclear policy status quo.

Grants to USA and Israel nonprofit organizations for a wide range of projects and programs that benefit Jewish communities. Funding is intended for capital projects, general operating support, or programming. In the United States, grants will primarily support residents in Miami, Florida.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for programs that directly benefit individuals in need. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to applying. Priority is given to programs that benefit residents of Connecticut, as well as worldwide. In general, the preference is to fund specific programs, and direct, tangible assistance, rather than equipment or general operating support.

Grants of up to $500 and grants of up to $2,000 to North Carolina charitable organizations, faith-based organizations, and groups in eligible regions to benefit the local community. Applicants must register for the grant application portal prior to submitting a proposal. Eligible applicants are organizations and groups with an annual income of $150,000 or less that are located in the greater Forsyth County area.

Grants of up to $50,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations and chartered municipalities for tourism development projects in eligible locations. Funding is intended for capital projects to establish visitor attractions and restore existing attractions. The program supports projects designed to attract visitors to Sampson County.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations in multiple states for programs and initiatives to develop local communities. Areas of focus include strengthening small businesses, building career pathways, economic mobility, education, and disaster relief. Eligible applicants are located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA and Canada investigators for scientific research related to cerebrovascular disease. Applicants are required to contact the funding source to receive a grant application. Requests will be accepted from individuals working in epidemiology, clinical care, or basic science. Funding is intended to support innovative projects that advance knowledge and understanding of the mechanisms of the disease as they relate to aneurysms, AVMs, and complex vascular malformations. Funds may be used for projects to develop novel therapies, or for clinical management or recovery for adult and/or pediatric patients.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International early-stage energy startups to join a 9-week accelerator program. Participating startups will benefit from personalized mentoring, networking, training, pitch deck design services, and access to resources to foster business growth. Grants of up to $1,500, grants of up to $5,000, and grants of up to $10,000 to North Carolina companies to promote business expansion and development in eligible locations. Funding is intended to strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, support existing businesses, and promote early-stage venture growth, with the goal of increasing jobs and opportunities in Orange County.

Grants and loans to USA nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and Tribes to promote the growth and development of small-scale businesses and entrepreneurs in rural areas. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. The purpose of this program is to support the development and ongoing success of rural microentrepreneurs and microenterprises.

Grants to USA and Canada organizations for medical and health-related programming. Funding is intended for programs that improve patient care and promote education for healthcare providers. Eligible use of funds includes internet-based publications, presentations, seminars, conferences, meetings, and live events.

Grants to USA and Canada researchers for projects to advance medical knowledge and improve care. Funding is intended to further research associated with the funding source's products within a broad range of focus areas including anesthesia, diagnostics, and operating rooms.

Grants to USA and Canada community hospitals, medical societies and associations, and teaching institutions for fellowship training programs. Funding is intended for studies related to disease states and therapeutic areas addressed by the funding source's products. Fellows are trained in the latest medical procedures and technologies.

Scholarships of $2,000 to USA individuals to pursue professional development training. The purpose of the program is to empower Americans to progress in their careers. Scholarships may be used for vocational training in the following industries: transportation, technology, construction, communications, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and public service.

Fellowship of $3,000 to a USA researcher to conduct studies that explore the history of family medicine and general practice in the United States. The research project will use the funding source's collections to further knowledge about the history of family practice, its practitioners, and their role in health and health care, and will result in a durable product in any format. Applications are welcome from interested researchers, including family physicians, students, residents, historians, scholars, educators, scientists, and other health professionals.

Grants of up to $5,000 and grants of up to $15,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations for programs that benefit residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended for projects that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities for low and moderate-income persons. Eligible projects benefit the residents of the City of Kannapolis.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for educational programs with a focus on the U.S. Constitution. The purpose of the program is to support programs that advocate the value of the Constitution. Applicants will be asked to include a summary of their accomplishments in the previous year and objectives for the coming year.

Grants to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations in multiple states and provinces to benefit the local community. Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for programs to enhance the health of the LGBTQ+ community. Eligible proposals are those that address physical and behavioral health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse, HIV and AIDS, basic needs, and health equity.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and individuals to benefit individuals experiencing hardship. Priority areas of focus include health challenges, mental illness, education, and drug abuse. Funding is intended to support and encourage people in overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.

Scholarships to USA family members of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Scholarships are available for tutoring, private school, and higher education. Eligible applicants are dependants and spouses of military service members and first responders.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International bass fishing organizations and groups for conservation projects. Funding is intended to engage youth in projects that benefit fisheries. Eligible activities include protecting and enhancing fish habitats, boater and angler access to public waters, addressing aquatic invasive species, best practices in tournament fish care, addressing pollution, and conservation education.

Fellowships to USA individuals from BIPOC backgrounds to obtain professional experience in environmentalism and conservation. The purpose of the program is to provide BIPOC professionals with opportunities to gain professional opportunities and career development in the clean energy and conservation sectors.

Grants to USA and Armenia nonprofit organizations, foundations, and charities for projects to benefit Armenian communities. Applicants must complete an eligibility quiz prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for a wide range of activities that focus on improving the quality of Armenia’s public education system.

Grants to USA businesses, institutions, and organizations for activities to benefit the residential furniture industry. Funding is intended to support educational and research programs that will improve manufacturing, marketing, and management within the industry. Projects must meet the following objectives:

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and community and technical colleges for workforce training. The goal of the program is to prepare people for careers involving skilled labor. Funding is intended to support workforce development in construction/carpentry, heating, ventilation, electrical, appliance repair, and air conditioning (HVAC) and/or plumbing. Priority is placed on programs that serve one or more underrepresented communities.

Grants to USA teachers, counselors, and educators to purchase classroom equipment, materials, and supplies. The purpose of the program is to provide students in grades 6-12 with knowledge about career opportunities in the TV and film entertainment industry. Eligible applicants and their students will watch a webinar featuring entertainment professionals who speak about their careers and offer advice for aspiring media professionals. Grants may be used for classroom needs, including media or technology equipment or other classroom needs.

Scholarships of $5,000 and scholarships of $10,000 to USA individuals living with epilepsy and family members or caregivers of individuals with epilepsy to pursue higher education. Funding is paid directly to the educational institution and may be used for books, tuition, and other school fees.

Grants of $500 to North Carolina individual PK-12 arts teachers in eligible locations for professional development activities. Funding is intended for costs and expenses related to career and artistic advancement projects. The grants are available to visual or performing arts educators in Orange County Public Schools and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools.

Grants to USA organizations for lighting for recreational areas in underserved communities. Funding is intended to improve the health and development of children through making sports pitches more accessible, safer, and extending the number of hours that children and adults can use these recreational facilities.

Loans to USA and territories nonprofit organizations, Tribes, cooperatives, and public agencies to assist with economic development in rural areas. Applicants are advised to complete required registrations before applying. Funding is intended to increase economic activity in eligible communities.

Grant of $5,000 to a USA doctoral student to assist with research necessary to complete a dissertation in US politics or public policy. Funding is intended for research to be conducted at the funding source's facility in Michigan. Eligible research fields include history, political science, foreign relations, and journalism.

Grants of up to $25,000 and in-kind support to USA Native Indigenous youth filmmakers for the production of short films. Funding is intended to cover the production costs of short story films on the topics of health and wellness, science, education, art, climate and environment, culture, history, language, and empowerment. Finished videos are expected to be shared in a community engagement activity that is determined by the partner organization.

Grants of up to $10,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations for disaster relief efforts in eligible locations. Funding is intended to assist communities and residents after natural or man-made disasters. Preference is given to projects that address critical needs such as food and water; medical and mental health services; housing and shelter; and staffing costs. Eligible applicants are located in or serve Burke County.

Grants of $2,500 to USA nonprofit organizations for projects to benefit local communities. Funding is intended for the provision of needs-based services including basic human needs, health and medicine, financial education and literacy, and mental health and crisis support.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International individual educators and teams of educators to recognize exceptional work in education research and development. In addition to prize money, winning candidates will receive guidance to initiate a new project or continue their current work. Nominations are judged based on the following criteria: to what extent is the nominees’ work future-oriented, innovative, transformative, and sustainable?

In-kind use of analytical lab services to USA, Canada, and International graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and academic scientists affiliated with accredited institutions. The purpose of the program is to enable researchers to use Protein Sequencing and Epitope Mapping techniques to assist their immunology, oncology, or structural biology research.

Opportunity for USA nonprofit organizations, IHEs, and agencies to participate in a competition for innovative ideas to expand access to justice in rural areas of the nation. This opportunity is meant to reduce gaps in access to justice that exist specifically in rural areas.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International PhD students to participate in online symposiums related to political economy. The purpose of the program is to support students who have a teaching or research interest in the subject. In addition to the stipend, fellows will have travel, accommodation, and meals covered by the program.

Grant to a USA state, agency, nonprofit or for-profit organization, or IHE to run a research and training center regarding employment for people who are blind. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for research that will improve employment outcomes for people who are blind or have low vision.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA and Austria researchers for research projects on pre-WWII connections between the two countries. Research may be on a wide array of topics including history, culture, economics, politics, or law. Projects may take place elsewhere if there are historical archives that are necessary to access in other countries.

Awards to USA nonprofit organizations recognizing exceptional programs serving underserved veterans and their families. Submissions will be ranked; those groups earning the highest ranking will receive a financial award and be recognized for their achievements. Awards will be utilized to plan and implement new community-based outreach event(s) or activation(s) that can reach over 5,000 underserved veterans. Priority project categories are Transitioning Veterans, Rural Veterans, Minority Veterans, and the Veteran Gaming community.

Grants of up to $1,000 and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, NGOs, and individuals for projects to save endangered species. The purpose of the funding program is to focus on saving less popular species that are not necessarily in the public's consciousness.

Grants to North Carollina early childhood education centers and K-12 schools in eligible counties to promote nutritious foods. Funding is intended to offer children positive experiences with healthy local foods through farm-to-school programs such as school gardens, farm field trips, farmer classroom visits, and local foods served in meals, snacks, and taste tests. Eligible applicants are located in the Western North Carolina region.

Grants of up to $35,000 and in-kind support to USA and Canada journalists and newsrooms for local investigative reporting that serves underrepresented communities. The program is intended to provide much-needed resources to journalists working on document-focused reporting in a wide range of formats, including video, audio, text, and interactive.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for capacity-building activities to foster health equity. Funding is intended to support organizations that advocate for social justice by improving the healthcare system. Organizations may request support for a wide range of activities, including training, data and technology, advocacy and policy change, communications and narrative change, leadership development, base-building, and civic engagement.

Grants to early-stage mathematicians to support travel expenses incurred by research projects. Funding is intended to assist qualifying applicants whose research requires participation in conferences, getting together with a collaborator, conducting studies at an IHE or other institution, or for other activities that necessitate travel related to the research being conducted. Funds may be used for expenses such as advance-purchase economy airfare, hotel, transportation to and from an airport, and meals.

Grants to USA, Canada, and China institutions to host mathematical scientists conducting collaborative research projects with overseas colleagues. Funding is intended to support travel expenses incurred by US and Canadian mathematical scientists traveling to engage in research at institutions in China, and by mathematical scientists from China traveling to conduct studies at institutions in the USA or Canada. Requests will be accepted from the host institutions who will be receiving the visitor from abroad. Preference will be given to US and Canadian traveler-researchers who are eminent mathematicians, and to Chinese traveler-researchers who are at the early stages of their career.

Grants to USA and Puerto Rico nonprofit educational organizations for educational programming that will improve literacy skills among children and older students. Funding is intended to support organizations that wish to employ reading strategies of the Foundation, namely, the initial teaching alphabet (ITA).

Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations, public school systems, and government agencies for community programs that benefit local residents in eligible locations. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Past grants have been used for public gatherings, art and music festivals, beautification initiatives, and other community events and programming. Requests will be accepted from applicants located in, and serving, Saluda.

Opportunity for USA nonprofit and public rural healthcare providers to receive discounts to improve internet connectivity and enhance the delivery of services. Funding is intended to increase the efficiency of health-related facilities that are located in rural areas by increasing broadband capabilities.

Funding is intended to support projects and programs that address the evolving needs of the local community. Requests will be accepted from applicants in Polk County.

Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations, public school systems, and government agencies for free public events that benefit residents in eligible locations. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Funding is intended for civic, educational, sports, recreational, and entertainment programs that provide enjoyment and edification to area residents. Funded activities must take place in the Tryon area.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International authors for nonfiction books on Jewish subjects. In addition to the $5,000 cash prize, winners will receive marketing and promotion assistance and customized support. Awards are available for books that have recently been published or are soon to be published, involving themes such as rein­vent­ing Jew­ish life and com­mu­ni­ty for the twen­ty-first cen­tu­ry, shift­ing notions of indi­vid­ual and collec­tive Jew­ish iden­ti­ty, the his­to­ry and future of Israel, and the evolv­ing rela­tion­ship between Israel and world Jewry.

Grants to USA and Canada vascular surgeon-scientists for research projects related to vascular health. Funding may be used for direct research costs in the areas of foundational science, clinical studies, patient-focused research, outcomes and health services, education, community support, translational, and patient care. The 2025 Wylie Scholar will be given the opportunity to be paired with a former Wylie Scholar who will serve as a mentor/advisor and provide research project guidance.

Grants to USA federally recognized Indian tribes to improve library services in Native communities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for digital services, educational programs, and the preservation and revitalization of Native American cultures and languages.

Grants to North Carolina and South Carolina nonprofit organizations, public schools, and government agencies to enhance the health of residents in eligible locations. Applicants must submit a letter of intent and new applicants must contact staff prior to applying. Funding is intended to support medical education programs for the public, as well as to improve the availability of medical care for patients unable to afford care. Projects must benefit the residents of Polk County, North Carolina and Landrum, South Carolina.

Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher learning for projects and activities that promote education, science, and health in regions across the State. Funding is intended to improve or expand existing programs, or to offer seed funds for new initiatives.

Scholarships of up to $6,000 to USA post-secondary students to study at a qualifying academic institution in Israel. Partial scholarships will be awarded to students attending a pre-approved university, institution of higher learning, or study program. Funds may be used for tuition expenses for undergraduate, graduate, post-doc, or other studies. The Scholarship Committee considers each student’s merit regardless of financial need.

Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations to benefit communities in eligible locations. Funding is intended to enhance, broaden, and initiate services for residents. Past grants have supported schools, family and children's programs, cancer services, and dental assistance. Collaborative projects that bring together organizations with similar missions are encouraged. Eligible programs serve the residents of the Elkin Tri-County core, defined as the area bounded by Dobson, Boonville, Hamptonville, Roaring River, and Thurmond.

Grants to North Carolina and South Carolina nonprofit organizations, public schools, and government agencies in eligible locations for projects related to agricultural advancement. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Previous grants have been awarded for community gardens, a school farm, and farmers' markets. Projects must benefit residents of Polk County, North Carolina, or Landrum, South Carolina.

Grants to North Carolina and South Carolina nonprofit organizations, public schools, and government agencies in eligible locations to improve skills used for obtaining grants. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Funding is intended to help local public safety organizations enhance their abilities and expertise in grant writing and learn more about non-local grants that are available to fund equipment and training. Funds may be used for grant-writing conferences, subscriptions and other outlets which provide information regarding available grants. Applicants must serve Polk County, North Carolina and Landrum, South Carolina.

Grants to North Carolina and South Carolina nonprofit organizations, public schools, and government agencies in eligible locations for community gatherings that are accessible to the public. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Funding is intended to engage and bring together neighbors and local residents and may be awarded for small, single events, for a series of events, or for a large single event likely to attract a hundred or more local people. The program supports free gatherings in Polk County, North Carolina, and Landrum, South Carolina.

Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations, public school systems, and government agencies for projects that benefit the community in eligible regions. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, and new applicants must first contact staff, prior to applying. Funding is intended for projects that can positively impact the local community and significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents for years to come. Eligible areas of interest include education, medical, and community benefits. Proposed projects must benefit the residents of Polk County.

Grants of up to $36,000 to USA individual painters and groups of painters over the age of 45 who need financial assistance. The goal of this program is to support the creation of American art and to support American artists who have not been shown fitting recognition. In addition to the cash grant, the award also includes an exhibition at PAAM. The review criteria for the grant are artistic quality, creative ability as evidenced by images of work submitted, and financial need.

Grants of up to $10,000 to North Carolina government agencies and nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support projects in the areas of community development, economic development, health care, the arts, and education. Funding may be requested for capital projects, program support, and operating expenses. Projects should benefit the designated Buncombe County communities.

In-kind grants of new children's books to USA public and tribal libraries in rural areas. The purpose of the project is to increase access to quality children's books. Recipients will be able to choose the most appropriate books for their community from a list of over 500 high-quality hardcover children’s books, including award-winning and star-reviewed titles from educational and literary organizations.

Grants of up to $500 to North Carolina Pre-K through college-level teachers in public and private schools and institutions of higher education for programs that further students' understanding of the local agricultural sector. Funding is intended to help teachers provide their students with valuable, real-world education and experiences directly related to the state's agricultural industry and the NC Standard Course of Study.

Grants to North Carolina nonprofits, public school districts, and IHEs in eligible locations for programs that improve educational outcomes in grades K-3 and to promote excellence in teaching and leadership in K-12 public schools. Applicants must first take an eligibility quiz, which will direct them to a Letter of Inquiry. Eligible programs benefit Charlotte-Mecklenburg residents. The Foundation also considers select state-level initiatives in North Carolina that align with their key areas of focus and have evidence of, or strong potential for, large-scale impact.

Grants to USA tribal, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian IHEs to advance research, education, and outreach in STEM and other disciplines. Funding is intended to support projects that build capacity, engage the community, and promote research across the social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The purpose of the program is to improve instruction and instructional capacity, including curricular offerings, in tribal colleges and universities across the country.

Opportunity for USA nonprofit and public rural healthcare providers to receive discounts to improve and upgrade communications technology. Applicants must submit required forms prior to completing the application process. Funding is intended to enhance telehealth and telemedicine by providing reduced rates for telecommunications and voice services. Eligible services are discounted at the difference in cost between urban and rural areas in the recipient organization's state.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA nonprofit organizations, government entities, IHEs and schools for projects that expand or introduce the practice of mindful meditation in underserved populations. Applicants must contact program staff prior to applying. Eligible projects are short-term and result in clearly identifiable outcomes.

The goal of the program is to create the next generation of leaders and community builders. Funding is intended for applicants with demonstrated financial need. Scholarship recipients will receive financial aid for college, a stipend and housing for summer work-travel experience, and a ten-year travel stipend. Additionally, students will receive invitations to an annual summit and an ongoing speaker series, giving them access to a network of leaders.
